Saturday Night Cruise Cancelation

Originally, the cruise was meant for car show participants only. We clearly notified all cruise participants that stunting and burnouts are not permitted and all traffic laws were to be obeyed. The city permit required compliance. The first year was a perfect, peaceful cruise.

It’s impossible to control who takes part on public streets so as the years went by other cars joined. Other things changed as well: spectators encouraged burnouts and drivers obliged. Unfortunately each year got progressively worse with the 2022 cruise becoming uncontrollable.

It’s unrealistic to have police enforcement at all locations where burnouts were encouraged and should not have been necessary. Regrettably we have decided to cancel this popular weekend event. We are trying to come up with something to replace this Saturday event.
